Electrical Project Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Project Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience overseeing electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work across commercial, residential and industrial projects. This role requires strong problem-solving and leadership skills, the ability to manage and support field crews, excellent attention to detail, efficiency in prioritizing multiple tasks, and the capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components, including wiring, circuit breakers, outlets, and lighting fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical codes to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety standards.
- Collaborate with contractors, project managers, and team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices such as ohmmeters and voltmeters.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time, materials used, and job progress.
- This is a hands-on, hybrid role that combines light project management responsibilities with on-site electrical work.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in North Dakota and Minnesota.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools related to electrical work.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
